GMS 6 is believed by some to be Captain Ahab's white whale, told about but never seen. In fact GMS 6 has been under development for several years, and shares a common code base with VSys One, which made it a very, very big project. GMS 6 is being tested and evaluated in several secret locations around the world, and is intended to be released gradually into the Special Olympics world during 2011. (Its look and feel, in fact its complete design is a 100% change from GMS 5, and so we need to stage its release across twelve months or more just to avoid overwhelming our support staff, and yours.)
