VSys lets you define any number of subjects for your trainings, and these are what you can use to ensure that each volunteer is up-to-date. Courses are actual classes teaching a specific subject at a given date and time with an instructor and optional location, catering, enrollment limits and expiration dates. (Courses are what the volunteers are actually registered in.)
